Following you will find a quick summary
of participants' comments, thoughts and ideas from
the November TeleGathering
for Highly Sensitive Souls. These comments
were made in response to the inquiry: "What
have you healed or are you healing around your sensitivity?"
We have healed or are healing by:
understanding, accepting and celebrating our empathic
ability
learning not to say “what’s wrong with
me?”
recovering from feeling weird & different
knowing we’re not alone!
appreciating the gifts of our sensitivity: we experience
so much of life – in richer, deeper, fuller
ways than others in our lives
choosing not to experience
negativity in our consciousness
knowing that our sensitivity is both a gift and a
responsibility
staying in “The Zone” of self care
practicing self acceptance if we ever step out of The
Zone
learning to trust our ability to see what is
coming and share it, even if others feel uncomfortable
speaking the unspoken
taking needed time for solitude and
self care
protecting and guarding our sensitivity
learning how to protect
our energy
taking time to renew and rejuvenate, making us more
effective and capable.
choosing different lifestyles
practicing great self care
paying attention to spiritual wisdom
honoring our deeply sensitive
emotional self
And, one participant shared three ways she’s
learned to manage energy in negative environments based on work
by Donna Eden, in her book “Energy Medicine”:
Turn your right side towards the negativity (we “receive” on
our left sides; we give from our right sides).
Cross everything to protect yourself – your
legs, arms, fingers, toes, hands.
Zip yourself up – run your hand upwards in front
of you – zipping up your aura/personal space.
